These are usually attached to a hospital or university. We are government regulated, fully insured and professional standards are enforced, giving you total confidence. The NHS will only employ HCPC reg. As part of our legal obligation we keep up to date with continual personal development (CPD) attending courses and conferences throughout the year. This is monitored by HCPC as a random audit every two years. All of our associates have many years’ experience and each associate brings with them their own field of speciality.

We now offer a Full Biomechanical Assessment which will
give our podiatrists insight to possible issues and then
a course of action will be recommended. This could be a
number of options including Shockwave Therapy – Ultra Sound, Joint Mobilisation, Taping, Massage, exercise regime.

Now a common issue is Fungal Nails. We have trained
podiatrists who will first test to immediately identify the
presence of a fungal infection in the nail. We can then offer a
course of treatment called Lacuna which is normally more
successful than other topical methods.
consultation

What happens at the consultation?

This usually takes 30 minutes – your podiatrist will take your medical history and inspect your feet. They will discuss your foot problem and advise on this and any other conditions that have been identified. Treatment will be commenced if appropriate.

Your toenails will be trimmed and any hard skin removed. Most people find that the treatment is pleasant and they feel more comfortable and relaxed as a result.

Even if your feet are in a good condition it is advisable to have an annual check-up and medical pedicure and benefit from the advice from a podiatrist in respect of your foot health and footwear.
